Mary Hack

Artistic Director
Mezzo-soprano
Mezzo-soprano Mary Hack, a resident of Hudson, has sung principal roles with opera companies throughout America and was selected by composer Gian Carlo Menotti to sing the role of the Mother in his opera “The Boy Who Grew Too Fast.” Ms. Hack’s recent performance in the title role of Hudson Chamber Opera’s inaugural production of Menotti’s “The Medium” was hailed by critics as “mesmerizing.” Ms. Hack holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of South Carolina and is currently a soloist at West End Collegiate Church in Manhattan. Mary and her husband Tom are proprietors of East Chatham Wines and Spirits.
